After graduating from Agnes Scott College, Cheryl moved to Ecuador and was an English Professor at the Universidad Estatal de Bolívar in the small Andean town of San Miguel de Bolívar. After four years in Ecuador, teaching and building the Universidad's language program and curriculum, she returned to the United States to pursue her graduate degree. At Vanderbilt University, she studied education policy for K-12 language learners and received her Master's in Public Policy. Cheryl came to Schuler in 2017 as an Education Counselor.
Cheryl enjoys baking, doing yoga, and watching old movies.
"What I love about my job is how we work as a team with families to support our Scholars both at school and at home. Actively looking for ways to bring parents into our process more is incredibly rewarding."
