Kyle received his Bachelor's degree in Clinical/Community Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While there, he worked as a paraprofessional with the counseling center to help deliver prevention and outreach services to other students on campus. After graduation, he completed an AmeriCorps program helping high school seniors in their path to college access at Morgan Park High School. He also served as a team advisor for a pre-college summer program focused on psychology and neuroscience at Duke University. Through these experiences he developed a passion for helping students reach their full potential, even if they do not see it themselves at times. He plans to obtain a Master's degree in School Counseling to continue supporting students. He is excited to be working with Schuler at his high school alma mater, Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep.

Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exploring new places, listening to music, and browsing YouTube.
