Originally from Chicago, Angela graduated from Illinois State University in 2017 with a degree in Human Development & Family Science. Soon after, She moved to Michigan to serve with Americorps as a College Advisor in a high school. After two years of service, Angela moved on to work as a Career and Academic advisor for Dual Enrolled/Early Middle students at a community college. Both these work experiences affirmed her passion for college access and working with historically excluded students!

Angela loves to play exit games, escape rooms, and go to "whodunit" mystery dinners! If she is not doing that, she can probably be found at the movies or trying out a new restaurant.
