Ali joined the Schuler Scholar Program in November 2015 as School Director at George Westinghouse College Prep. She brings 15 years’ experience as a high school English teacher to her position at Westinghouse. While teaching, Ali predominantly taught Honors and AP courses to students in Indianapolis. A family move to Chicago prompted her to pursue a longtime interest in education non-profit work. Ali holds her M.A. in English Literature from Indiana University; she also holds her B.A. from Indiana University in English.

In her downtime, Ali loves exploring the city with her husband and two dogs - who are the loves of her life! - and traveling around the U.S. and abroad.
