Schuler Scholars, alumni, parents, staff and volunteers came together with Mr. Schuler to talk about the SSP's impact on their lives in this new video. Schuler Scholars learned about theater and costumes at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Canada. Throughout the year, Schuler Scholars visit colleges and universities so they can learn more and find the best school for them. During a mega exposure to New York City, Scholars visited La Casa Azul Bookstore in East Harlem. AmeriCorps Scholar Coaches joined the fun at the annual Winter Reunion for College & Alumni Scholars. Over a fall long weekend, Scholars visited colleges and universities around the country.

Volunteers

Volunteers give to Schuler in a variety of ways, including interviewing Scholars and their families during Scholar Selection, guiding College Scholars as a College Connections Coach or hosting a career exposure for a group of Schuler Scholars at their place of employment. If you are interested in learning more about the ways you or your organization can help the Schuler Scholar Program, contact Margaret Falter at Margaret@schulerprogram.org.

The Schuler Scholar Program

The Schuler Scholar Program (SSP) prepares students who are bright and motivated, but underserved, to succeed at the most competitive colleges and universities. Schuler Scholars are typically first-generation college-bound, come from under-resourced families and communities, and will need financial assistance in order to attend college. Read more.
