Margarita graduated from Denison University and went on to become a Scholar Coach in July of 2018. Being able to work with Scholars on developing their passions for reading has been a rewarding journey for Margarita. As a Schuler Scholar Coach, she gets to see the growth that Scholars go through during a year of REP through our sessions and it pays off for them when they start getting into more rigorous courses. She also gets the opportunity to translate and present to Spanish-speaking parents so that they do not feel out of the loop with Schuler. This is another great part of her career in Schuler, as many parents are often grateful that the organization is providing the resources for them to understand what their children are doing.
Margarita enjoys being able to do photography on her off-time. She also has two dogs that she enjoys spending time with!
"Real education should consist of drawing the goodness and the best out of our own students. What better books can there be than the book of humanity?" - Cesar Chavez

“I majored in economics and French and I never would have guessed how much a French degree would help. Being able to articulate ideas well, it's such a strong skill, from my French degree.”
