Kailee graduated from American University with a degree in International Studies in December 2018 and joined Schuler in July 2019. She focused her degree on international development, and she is particularly interested in the role that education plays in creating sustainable development. While interning with a literacy program based in Nashville, Tennessee, Kailee developed a passion for working with youth and students of all ages, and she is excited to have the opportunity to work with Schuler Scholars this upcoming year.
In her free time, Kailee enjoys running (she ran cross country and track during her time at AU), cooking, doing service work with her faith community, and caring for her bonsai tree.

“So much of what we do begins with helping Schuler Scholars commit to the effort to get accepted into top colleges. From there you want them to believe that it will happen.”
