Mylo graduated college in 2019 with a degree in Philosophy. During their time in school, they worked as a writing consultant in the writing center, a TA for several classes, and a peer mentor for first year and transfer students. This peer-to-peer work inspired their want to continue working in education post-grad. He started with Schuler in 2019 as a Reading Coach at North Chicago Community High School and now works as a Reading and Writing Program Associate, training and supporting other coaches across Schuler.

Outside of work, Mylo is currently getting his MA in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies at Loyola University in Chicago. He is currently writing his thesis on Character Education.
