Mitch graduated from Valparaiso University and joined Schuler Scholar Program in February 2018. Working for five years in selective college admissions prior to coming to Schuler, he gained insight into the ever-changing world of college admissions. He trained admission staff on the holistic application review process including the review of essays and an evaluation of admissions interviews. Overseeing the admissions committee and the release of all application decisions, he reviewed thousands of student applications during his time on the 'other side of the desk'.

In his free time, he enjoys spending every moment he can exploring the world around him. Mitch also thoroughly enjoys A Cappella music and can often be found at Montrose Beach playing volleyball throughout the warmer months in Chicago.
