Kiara began her journey with Schuler as a Scholar at Waukegan High School. In 2018, she graduated from Knox College with a BA in English Literature and Secondary Education. Kiara started her teaching career in Nashville with experience in private, public, and charter schools, teaching 9-12 English Literature, ACT Prep, and Spanish. She values working one-on-one with students and catering to their unique academic needs.
In her free time, Kiara enjoys being in nature, discovering new podcasts, and creating art. Her favorite book to teach is "In the Time of the Butterflies" by Julia Alvarez - a book she first read in high school with her Schuler Scholar Coach!
