Julia graduated from Davidson College in May of 2020 with a degree in Hispanic Studies and Communication Studies. Before joining Schuler, she spent several years volunteering and working with individuals with disabilities with the Maine-Niles Association of Special Recreation and, most recently, in Community Consolidated School District 64.
Julia enjoys running, trying out new vegan recipes, attending sports events, and solving newspaper puzzles like Sudoku and KenKen. She volunteers at a food pantry on the north side of Chicago each weekend, which she has been doing since 2016.
