Jonathan started with Schuler in November 2021. Much of his work is centered around social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion for underrepresented individuals. Prior to Schuler, Jon briefly worked at DePaul University in the Egan Office for Urban Education and Community Partnerships as a School Community Organizer. Through this position, he facilitated partnerships and programming opportunities between schools and community organizations, specifically on Chicago's westside, that helped strengthened relations between both entities. Jon also worked at Beloit College as a graduate fellow in the McNair Scholars Program, assisting scholars in applying to graduate school, securing funding, and research professional development.
Jon loves cooking and anything regarding Marvel (Movies, TV Shows, Comics). He also enjoys making music with my choir, "LiBerated Chorale," a Tri-State gospel choir located in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.

“So much of what we do begins with helping Schuler Scholars commit to the effort to get accepted into top colleges. From there you want them to believe that it will happen.”
