I'mani was Schuler Scholar at Waukegan High School, and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree at University of Pennsylvania. She then returned to Schuler as a Scholar Coach for two years. I'mani went on to earn her Master's at Harvard Graduate School of Education. There, she worked as a Youth Advisory Board Coordinator, working with students from across the country discussing topics and implementing projects around creating safe and caring schools/communities. After graduation, she returned to Schuler to work as an Educational Counselor.

In her free time, I'mani enjoys trying new recipes, reading a good book, looking for new and listening to her vinyls and playing The Sims.
