Guadalupe studied History and Visual Culture at the University of Southern California (USC). Throughout undergrad, they worked as an undergraduate researcher and wrote a senior honors thesis that centered on critical and diverse histories of Mexico City. Guadalupe has always been a proponent of teaching critical and diverse histories and is currently implementing this in their work with Schuler scholars.
Outside of Schuler, Guadalupe is an multi-media artist. Their art centers LGBTQIA+ stories of healing and transformation. They love spending time with their partner, watching tv and movies, and cooking meals for their family.
