Johnny Reed

At Waukegan High School, Johnny graduated in the top 10% of his class. He also co-founded Bulldog, Inc., a service organization at his high school which began as a Schuler pilot program. His accomplishments and vibrant personality helped him gain access to Colorado College in the fall of 2009. Johnny comes from a single parent family (father) and is the first in his father’s family to attend college.

After only his first year at Colorado College, Johnny studied and volunteered in a variety of locations. He volunteered on a vegan farm in Espangola, New Mexico, studied economics and public policy in Washington, DC, and he ventured to Canada to study theater and drama. In addition, he was elected co-chair of the Black Student Union at CC. He is currently gathering information to research and study the Canadian Expulsion.
