Jackie’s dynamic interests and personality, extracurricular involvement, and excellent academic record earned her a spot in Scripps College’s class of 2014. In addition to her schoolwork, Jackie excelled at an internship she initiated at the office of Illinois State Representative Eddie Washington. She also volunteered at the local PADS, a space that provides hospitable shelter to homeless individuals. In the summer of 2010, Jackie traveled to Stratford, Canada for the Shakespeare Theater Festival with the Schuler Scholar Program. She is a first generation college student.
